Fees And Rebates
SESSIONAL FEES
My fee for a 50 minute (standard) psychological session is $220. The fee for an after hours appointment (after 5pm on weekdays) is $235.
From July 1, 2024 the fee for a standard session will increase to $230 and the fee for an after hours appointment will increase to $250. The fee is payable in full at the end of each session by credit/debit card unless by prior arrangement.
Under certain circumstances I may offer a reduced fee, which can be negotiated.
MEDICARE REBATES
Medicare will rebate ten sessions per calendar year. This requires a Mental Health Care Plan which is available from your General Practitioner, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
Medicare will rebate $137.05 per session.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If an appointment is cancelled at late notice (within 24 hours), then 75% of the fee is payable.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
Check with your health fund to see if you are entitled to a rebate. In most circumstances a rebate is available but cannot be claimed until all Medicare rebateable sessions have been completed.
