About Jennifer
I became a psychologist because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live the best life they can and I think I can help people to do this. Life is constantly changing and this uncertainty can be a challenge for some people, and may lead to anxiety and depression or other disorders. As an integrative therapist I bring together lots of different approaches to meet the differing and deeply personal needs of my clients. I work in collaboration with clients to identify the areas in their lives where they are having difficulty and together we set goals and work towards them from a strengths based perspective. I believe that building an open and honest therapeutic relationship with clients is critical to their recovery.
I have diverse experience in the mental health sector as well as in life itself. I have 15 years of experience in the mental health sector and over 25 years in business. Together this provides me with a depth of experience and perspective in helping to understand of the lives of my clients. I have worked in community mental health, public mental health, and private practice which means that I have treated a broad range of disorders and problems.
